​VIACOM18 SET TO TAKE BIRTHDAY BOY NIKKHIL ADVANI TO JAIL!

Viacom18 Motion Pictures has joined hands with birthday boy Nikkhil Advani, for their latest venture 'Lucknow Central', a unique human tale of triumph and trial. With the increasing appetite of audiences' for meaningful cinema, the studio known for its critically acclaimed and content driven films, Viacom18 Motion Pictures alongwith Nikkhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures will go behind bars for this film.


The story is set in the backdrop of a jail, with music at its core. Here's the thing about sound waves. Walls might muffle them but cages only reverberate them louder. Situated deep in the heartland of India, within the by-lanes of Lucknow is story of a man who had something to say. Or should we say sing. While the lead actor is yet to be finalized, the word on the street is that quite a few stars are coveting this performance driven role.


When asked about the new project, Nikkhil Advani said, "The right mixture of all the elements falling into place creates good cinema. That's the aim with Lucknow Central, and with a studio like Viacom18 Motion Pictures backing us, who believe that content is king. A heartwarming script by Aseem Arora with Ranjit Tiwari as director, I feel that the film is in good hands and can reach its full potential."

While the makers are out hunting for the lead actor, all we can do for now is wait and see who will finally do the 'Jailhouse Rock'!
